The main demands of ABVP are that colleges should be opened immediately, arrangements should be made for online exams for students who have taken online classes and arrangements should be made for Kovid vaccination of students.
ABVP’s Delhi unit’s provincial minister Siddharth Yadav said on today’s protests that it is the right of every student to get education in the college campus and keeping that in mind, the DU administration should open all the college campuses at the earliest.Due to lack of proper internet connectivity, students are facing problem not only in attending classes but also students are not able to take advantage of college library, sometimes students sitting in remote areas connect half the time of online classes. It gets worse.
Apart from this, those students who want to participate in national-international level tournaments cannot even go to the sports complex to practice. Although the Delhi University administration had issued a notification on August 6 this year asking for opening the college campus from August 16, but the order was withdrawn the very next day. At present, the last year science students come to the college for practical classes, but the rest of the students are feeling that their studies are being lost.
