Status of this Pt.Sambhunath Shukla University Shahdol.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Mukesh Tiwari said that formally running from 1st June 2017, this university has the status of a single university.
In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all traditional subjects, the university also offers postgraduate courses in computer science, biotechnology, electronics, and fisheries and degree courses in physical education.
From the past years, certificate and diploma courses like Certificate Course in Music, PGDCA, PG Diploma in Yoga, PG Diploma in GST are also run.
At present about 11,000 students are studying. Apart from this, the university is trying to conduct some new courses through extension centers.
The program was organized by the Chairman of the Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Bharat Sharan Singh, academician Dr. Umashankar Pachauri also spoke.
