CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021-22: 12th Physics paper over, students told the question was tough

CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021-22: After the end of the 12th Physics paper in Term-1, students’ reactions have started coming. According to the students, the Physics paper was a bit tough.

The Physics paper of class XII in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Term-1 is over. The exam lasted from 11.30 am to 1 pm. The CBSE Term 1 board exam for Science stream will end on December 18. The next paper is of Chemistry which is going to be held on 14th December. CBSE Class 12 Physics paper had three sections – A, B and C. Section A had 25 multiple choice questions and students had to answer any 20 questions. Whereas Section B had 24 questions and any 20 questions were to be answered. Section C had 6 questions out of which students had to answer any five.

The paper was a bit difficult for the students 

Reactions have started coming from the students of CBSE Board 12th classes regarding the Physics paper. According to the students, the Physics paper was a bit tough. However, all the questions were asked from the syllabus itself.

 The students were quite satisfied with the question paper. Students have described the paper as ‘a bit difficult’ and lengthy. There were many had numerical questions and the options were also very limited. Section B was very tough. A class 12 student said that I will not get full marks, but I expect 35 questions to be correct.

Good students can get full marks

According to teachers, average students can expect a score around 30, while good students can get full marks, but there were two to three unclear choices in the questions, so candidates have to rely on the answer-keys.

 He said, “There was one question in section B, question number 40- Combination of register which was out of syllabus. But the question was in the sample paper. Overall, the paper follows the pattern of NCERT and sample papers.
