Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced on Saturday that approval has been given to set up weekly markets from August 9. About 2700 weekly markets are held on fixed days in a week in 12 areas of Municipal Corporation areas, Delhi Cantonment and New Delhi Municipal Council and they provide livelihood to about four lakh people.
