Karnataka State Higher Education Minister Dr Ashwath Narayana, speaking in Bangalore yesterday, said that the admission process for the first year degree would start from August 1 and the Degree College Classes would be opened from 1st October. Some universities have already conducted odd-semester exams, with Bangalore VV, Gulbarga VV and Karnataka VVs not being tested. Degree semester exams are scheduled for October 15. Dr. Ashwath Narayana had informed that the Diploma Practical Examination will be held from July 26 to 28 and the Theory Diploma Examination will be held from August 2 to August 21. UGC has now officially notified that graduate college classes will begin on October 1. The results will be available to secondary PUC students on July 20 in Karnataka, enabling them to enroll in graduate classes for further education.

According to the time table, all higher education institutions are required to complete the final year / semester exam by online or offline by August 31.
In addition, interim semester / yearly students are evaluated based on internal assessment and previous semester exams. This decision is in accordance with the rules adopted in 2020.
The UGC said all institutions had to complete enrollment of first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students by September 30. The deadline for the admission is October 31.
Higher education institutions must ensure that the admissions process for undergraduate courses / programs begins for the 2021-2022 academic session only after the CBSE, ICSE and state boards announce the results. For the first semester / year, the academic year begins October 1. Relevant documents of eligibility tests can be accepted until December 31st. The university has until October 18 to start the academic session if there is a delay in the declaration of 12th grade marks.
The UGC said universities will not be charged any cancellation fees until October 31, in view of the financial hardship brought by Corona. Post it, universities can deduct a maximum of 1000 processing fees if student admission is revoked or canceled until December 31st.
It is stated that organizations can plan classes, breaks, exams, semester breaks etc. from 20 October 2021 to 31 July 2022, following the required protocols / guidelines / directions / recommendations from the Central / State Governments and competent authorities from time to time.
