Elections will be held for 12272 posts of Gram Panchayat member, 904 posts of Mukhiya, 1245 posts of Panchayat Samiti member, 135 posts of Zilla Parishad member, 904 posts of Sarpanch and 12272 posts of Panch. In the seventh phase, 100807 candidates will try their luck in the election fray. In this 47170 male and 53637 female candidates are presenting their claim.

According to the Bihar State Election Commission, a total of 12786 polling stations have been set up in different blocks for 37 districts in the seventh phase. In this phase 7285589 voters will exercise their franchise. This includes 3834000 male and 3450436 female and 272 other voters. Elaborate security arrangements will be made at all these centers. This time in the Panchayat elections, the Election Commission has made arrangements for biometric verification.

In the seventh phase of Bihar Panchayat elections, candidates have been elected unopposed on 2207 seats even before the polling. In this, elections have been completed for 5 posts of Gram Panchayat member, 85 posts of Panchayat Samiti member and 2117 posts of Panch without any opposition. The counting of votes for the seventh phase will be held on November 17 and 18.
