Under this, CM Shivraj held a meeting with the investors of Burhanpur Powerloom Textile Cluster on Monday. Let us inform that with the formation of Burhanpur powerloom cluster, 8 thousand people will get employment. 

During the meeting, CM Shivraj told the investors that in Madhya Pradesh, the government is providing all necessary facilities for land, electricity and industries at concessional prices for industrial development and investment. The government is telling the investors that you invest and develop the area, we will help you fully.

This meeting took place in the ministry. It is worth mentioning that on July 17, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had talked about development of industries and making a roadmap for self-reliant Burhanpur in the Investors Summit organized in Burhanpur district. In this regard, the Chief Minister had invited industrialists of Burhanpur to Bhopal.

Let us inform that the proposed area for Burhanpur Powerloom Textile Cluster will be 75 acres, which will be in Rahat Khurd Industrial Area. Along with this, undeveloped government land will also be made available in Sukhpuri village. CM Shivraj has directed to reduce the price of Rehatkhurd industrial area by 30 percent on the demand of investors.

Along with this, permission has been given to give undeveloped land of Sukhpuri village directly for cluster development, Rs 20 crore for cluster development, interest subvention for 5 years and to connect the cluster area with Rahatkhurd sub-station.

The proposed investment in Burhanpur Powerloom Textile Cluster would be Rs 350 crore. 107 investors are ready to invest in this cluster. 56 crores will be invested in Sukhpuri itself. Laghu Udyog Bharti President Pradeep Todi, Burhanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Prashant Shroff, Burhanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries Secretary Praveen Chouks, Textile Processors Association Vice President Suresh Lakhotia were among those who met the CM.
