The Indian Medical Association has condemned yoga guru Baba Ramdev for criticizing allopathic medicine as a nonsense science.

Baba Ramdev, a yoga guru and head of the Patanjali Institute, had controversially said that allopathy is a nonsense science, drugs approved by the Controller General of Drugs, including Remdesivir, have failed to cure corona.
The video was released on social media and caused a stir. In this context, the Indian Medical Association has strongly condemned Baba Ramdev’s comment on allopathic medicine.
In a statement, the Indian Medical Association said, The video of Baba Ramdev talking about the modern allopathic medical system as nonsense and failure has been circulating on social media. These ideas are meant to mislead the public.
It also challenges the wisdom and integrity of the Controller General of Indian Drugs and the Union Ministry of Health.
Notice has been sent to Baba Ramdev regarding his criticism of allopathy.
Further, the Medical Association of India has requested the Central Health Department to take action against Ramdev under the Infectious Diseases Prevention Act.
Therefore, it has insisted that action be taken against Baba Ramdev under sections 188 and 3 of the Indian Penal Code.
In this situation, notice has been sent to Ramdev an explanation regarding allopathic medicine.
It also warned that stern legal action would be taken if a proper response was not forthcoming.
Patanjali answer for Baba Ramdev criticism.
On Baba Ramdev’s comments, Patanjali said that the allegation of the Indian Medical Association was false and that Baba Ramdev had undue value on doctors and medical staff.
According to Patanjali, he read a WhatsApp message he received while attending a program.
