The results of six Zilla Parishad by-elections in the state have come out. BJP has again maintained its dominance in Dhule district.

The results of six Zilla Parishad by-elections have been declared in the state. BJP has again maintained its dominance in Dhule district. Former BJP minister MLA Jayakumar Rawal has again managed to maintain his dominance in Shindkheda taluka. Chandrakant Patil’s daughter Dharti Deore has emerged victorious from Lamkani Zilla Parishad group. (Dhule Zilla Parishad Election: Chandrakant Patil’s daughter wins dharti)
BJP candidate from Dhule Zilla Parishad Lamkani village Dharti Deore won by about 4 thousand 96 votes. Dharti was the daughter of Gujarat BJP state president Chandrakant Patil (RC Patil). In Dhule, the BJP needed two of the 14 seats for a majority. Polling was held for 15 Zilla Parishad and 30 Panchayat Samiti seats.
Dharti Deore had got it from BJP. Earlier, in the last election, they had emerged unopposed. At present BJP is in power in Dhule Zilla Parishad. The BJP has 27 out of 56 seats. Shiv Sena has 2 seats, NCP has 3 seats and Congress has 6 seats. BJP has got majority after Dharti Deore’s victory.

Meanwhile, BJP candidates have won three out of four seats in Shindkheda taluka. The NCP won one seat.
