Vineeth has issued a press release in this regard : A scheme will be implemented to provide subsidy to ulamas registered with the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board and working in Waqf institutions to purchase new two wheelers .
The petitioner should have worked for at least 5 years on the day of application in the Wakf companies registered with the Wakf Board in Tamil Nadu. Must be from Tamil Nadu. Must be between 18 and 40 years old. Must be licensed. Educational Qualification 8th Class (Pass and Fail).
50 per cent of the price of a two-wheeler or Rs 25 thousand. Whichever is less will be given as a grant. If more than one person applies for a grant-in-aid from a registered Waqf institution, the grant will be given to one person only on the basis of preference of Bash Imam, Arabic teachers, Motinar, Mujawar. Applications can be sent by post to the Office of the Backward Classes and Rehabilitation Welfare Officer, Collector’s Office, Coast Guard.
In addition, the 8th class must have a tochi and must be between 18 and 40 years of age. Must have LLR certification when applying. If more than one of the 63 waqf institutions registered in the district applies for the grant assistance, the grant amount will be given based on the priority of Bash Imam, Arabic teachers, Motina, and Mujawa.
