Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Ahmedabad yesterday i.e. late Sunday evening for his two-day visit to Gujarat.
According to the information, he is scheduled to visit three covid-19 vaccination centers from Monday, out of which one center is in Ahmedabad. Officials gave this information.
Shah’s intention to visit the vaccination centers on Monday is to encourage people to be a part of the Gujarat government’s massive vaccination campaign, he said. This campaign of the state government is starting from Monday.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) said in a release on Sunday that it plans to vaccinate one lakh people daily as part of a massive vaccination drive.
The corporation said Shah is scheduled to visit Pandit Deendayal Hall in Bodakdev area here in the morning. During this, Mayor of the city Kirit Parmar and senior AMC officials will accompany him.

The BJP state unit issued a statement saying that the Union minister would visit two more vaccination centres, one at a school in Kolvad and another at a health center in Rupal.
Both these areas come under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, which is represented by Shah.
The party said it would also inaugurate two flyovers, railway overbridge and a new APMC building at Kalol.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation said the community auditorium at Bodakdev “is one of 25 such vaccination centers where local MPs, MLAs and councilors will be present to expedite the vaccination campaign”.
It is worth noting that the Gujarat government will launch a state-wide vaccination campaign from Monday, where people in the age group of 18-44 years will be vaccinated by registering immediately.
