After the launch of the portal, many people had problems in filing their tax returns. The Center has directed taxpayers and chartered accountants to file their tax returns before September 30. Portal failures include difficulty logging in, difficulty in validating Aadhaar, and inability to generate OTP. Many complaints have been raised on social media in this regard. In this context, the Finance Ministry had called a meeting to explain the issues related to this.
