Sowmiya got a job in a private company in the Salem district following the immediate action of Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Radhakrishnan, 62, of Pottaneri, Mettur, Salem district, works as a security guard at a wedding hall there. His daughter Sowmiya, 22; B.E., studied Computer Science. Not married.

At last, on the 12th, Sowmiya, who had come to open the irrigation water at the Mettur dam, handed over to the Chief Minister Stalin, to the Corona relief fund, chain which he had worn around his neck.

Appreciating it, Stalin took to Twitter to promise to give Sowmiya a job. Yesterday, Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister Senthil Balaji went to Pottaneri and ordered Sowmiya to work at the nearby JSW plant.

Salem Collector Karmegam, West District Commissioner Selvaganapathi, DMK, were present with the executives. In the first phase, Sowmiya was offered a job with a salary of 17,000 rupees a month.
