Mumbai International Airport is now owned by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL). The board meeting of Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) was held on Tuesday.

In this meeting, it was decided to hand over the responsibility of maintenance and handling of Mumbai Airport from GVK Group to Adani Group.

As a result, the GVK Group’s connection with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the upcoming airport in Navi Mumbai has come to an end. Gautam Adani, president of the Adani Group, said on Twitter that he was responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Mumbai airport.

Earlier, the stake was held by ACSA Global Limited (ACSA) and Bid Services Division (Mauritius) Limited (Bidwest). It is said that Adani Group will buy a 74 per cent stake in Mumbai Airport after its dispute with GVK Group is resolved.
