Preliminary preparations have been started for organizing the National Tribal Dance Festival. Today in the local Mahant Ghasidas museum, a presentation of tribal dancers was performed by ten people from all the divisions of the state. Officials of the Culture Department said that the artists of different genres selected at the divisional level would be selected. Selected teams will get a chance to present their art and culture in the state level event. In the presentation of tribal dancers, Mandari dance of Gariaband and Dhamtari district, Bhujia dance, Karma dance of Mahasamund district, Bhatapara and Suva dancers of Balodabazar district performed.
Invitation has been given to all the states
Officials of the Culture Department said that for the National Tribal Dance Festival, invitations have been sent by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to the Governors, Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors and administrators of Union Territories of the country to attend the function. Along with this, tribal dancer parties of these states and union territories have also been requested to participate in this event. To make this event more grand and attractive, foreign artists have also been invited to participate.
All the states of the country have been invited by the Government of Chhattisgarh to participate in the second National Tribal Dance Festival. Mementos related to the National Tribal Dance Festival sent by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel by the Parliamentary Secretaries, MLAs, public representatives and officials authorized by the State Government, including the Governor, Chief Minister, Culture Minister, Chief Secretary and Secretary of the Culture Department. By handing over the officers, they are being invited to attend the function to be held from October 28 to 30. Most of the states have given consent to join the artists associated with tribal dance from their state.

25 states including foreign artists from 6 countries were involved
In the year 2019, more than 1800 artists including artists from 6 countries, 25 states participated in the three-day National Tribal Festival held at Science College ground. Tribal artists from different states of India including Uganda, Belarus, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bangladesh participated in this event and performed on stage in tribal style. Due to its distinctive style and traditions, it is the identity of tribal dance that attracts the attention of the onlookers and makes them dance.

The National Tribal Dance Festival organized for the first time was highly praised not only in the country but also at the international level.
