Similarly, while studying in Varanasi, Rajguru came in contact with many revolutionaries. But he was so impressed by Chandrashekhar Azad that his party immediately joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army, at that time he was only 16 years old.

The main objective of Rajguru and his companions in this party was to create fear in the minds of the British officers. Along with this, he used to make people aware by roaming around and also used to inspire for Jung-e-Azadi. While on the one hand, unlike Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas, Rajguru wanted freedom in a revolutionary way by the force of arms, because of this his ideas never matched those of Mahatma Gandhi.

Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev were from Punjab among the three heroes who kissed the noose, while Rajguru was from a Brahmin family of Maharashtra but had a big time in his life.  He lived in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

In Azad’s party, he was known by the pseudonym of Raghunath. Revolutionaries like Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Bhagat Singh and Yatindranath Das were his dear friends. By the way, Rajguru himself was also an accomplished shooter. On 19 December 1928, when Rajguru, along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev, killed British police officer JP Saunders.

Rajguru History.

This incident was, in fact, a revenge for the murder of Lala Lajpat Rai. Who died during the lathi charge while opposing the Simon Commission. Along with this, Rajguru also played an important role in the bomb attack on the Central Assembly in Delhi on 8 April 1929.

After the murder of Saunders, Rajguru went to Nagpur and took shelter in the house of an RSS worker. It was there that he met Dr. K.B. Hedgewar, with whom Rajguru prepared a grand plan ahead. But alas, before he could go ahead with his plan, the police arrested him on his way to Pune. After this he was hanged along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev on 23 March 1931. All three were cremated at Hussainwala on the banks of river Sutlej in Firozpur district of Punjab. In this way, this man of freedom along with his friends became a laughing sacrifice for Mother India.

Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev were from Punjab, while Rajguru was from a Brahmin family of Maharashtra, but a big time of his life was spent in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.  The village in Maharashtra where he was born on 24 August 1908 was named Khed, it was a village in Pune city.  His father’s name was Harinarayan. 

He had done two marriages.  He had six children by his first wife and five by his second wife.  Rajguru was the fifth child.  After the death of his father at the age of six, he was brought up by his elder brother and mother.

Rajguru Education.

After the initial education in the village, Rajguru came to Banaras to study education.  Where he studied Sanskrit etc.  Studied the Hindu religious texts.  In Banaras, they started being counted among the knowledgeable people.  It was during his studies that he came in contact with the revolutionaries.  At the age of 16, Rajguru joined the Hindustan Socialist Republic Association.  After this, Rajguru Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev etc. came in contact with the revolutionaries.  The special thing is that among the revolutionaries, he was popularly known as Raghunath.

Since Rajguru was educated, he was gentle in speech, so in the beginning he got involved in the work of expansion of the organization.  During this, Rajguru traveled almost all over the country in cities like Punjab, Lahore, Kanpur, Agra.  In a very short time, Rajguru became a good friend of Bhagat Singh.  One special thing and Rajguru was also a great shooter.

Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Rajguru History Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and Rajguru resolved to avenge the murder of Lala Lajpat Rai.  and planned to kill James A. Scott, who ordered the lathi charge.  But Scott was killed in place of Saunders because there was a misidentification of the revolutionary named Jai Gopal.  After this the series of arrests started.  To avoid arrest, Bhagat Singh completely changed his disguise, he became a British officer.  And revolutionary Durga Bhabhi became his wife.

He boarded the train with his child.  Apart from Bhagat Singh, Rajguru was also traveling in this train in disguise.  When this train reached Lucknow, Rajguru got down here and left for Banaras while Bhagat Singh along with Durga Bhabhi and her child left for Howrah.  Later Bhagat Singh Sukhdev and Rajguru were arrested.  All three were hanged together.
