The Sri Ramayana Yatra, launched by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, began on Sunday, November 7. The special train departs from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi.

 The main purpose of this trip is to visit the famous places where the story of Ramayana took place. The trip lasts for 12 nights and 13 days. The train departs from Delhi and goes to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama.

Rameshwaram goes through Nandigram, Janakpur, Sitamarhi, Varanasi, Prayag Raj, Sringaverpur, Chitrakoot, Nashik and Hampi. This is where the journey ends. The return train goes to Delhi. The journey will cover a distance of 7,500 km for a total of 17 days. Only 132 passengers are allowed on the train for this trip. 

Ramayan Express Train Ticket Price

There are two categories available for train travel. They have 1AC and 2AC categories. While .. 1.02 lakhs to travel in 1 AC, Rs. 83 finger to be paid. It has all the facilities for travelers. Restroom, toilets, dining room, veg, non veg food, CCTVs, special lockers are all provided.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has planned a series of Sri Ramayana Yatra tours to promote religious tourism. IRCTC has resumed domestic tourism by trains in view of the improved corona (COVID-19) situation. Part of this starts today. Starting from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on November 7, the first tour will cover all the major places related to Sri Ram’s life.

Other packages include 12 nights / 13 days from Sri Ramayana Yatra Express-Madurai. It is set to launch on November 16th. There is also a 16 night / 17 day package to Sri Ramayana Yatra Express-Sriganganagar. The IRCTC has announced that the train will leave on November 25.

Ramayan Circuit Train Route

The first stop of the train is in Ayodhya where tourists visit Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Temple, Bharat Mandir in Nandigram and Hanuman Temple. The next destination is Sita’s birthplace in Sitamarhi, Bihar. From there, you can visit the Ram-Janki Temple in Janakpur by road.

The train will then leave for Varanasi. Tourists can visit Varanasi, Prayaga, Shringavarpur and Chitrakoot temples by road. Overnight stays are arranged at Varanasi, Prayaga and Chitrakoot.

The train stops at Nashik. There will be a visit to Trimbakeshwar Temple and Panchavati. After Nashik, the next destination is Hampi, the ancient city of Kishkinda.

Rameshwaram is the last stop for this train journey. The train then returns to Delhi on the 17th day of its journey. During this entire tour, guests will cover about 7500 km. Will travel.

IRCTC ramayana yatra 2021 price

In line with the Government of India’s “Dekho Apna Desh” initiative to promote domestic tourism, the IRCTC has extended this special tourist train to 2AC at a cost of Rs. 82,950 and Rs. Started at a price of 1,02,095.

IR CTC said that a second trip has also been arranged for the enthusiasts. The second trip will start in December. Bookings have already started for this.

The package price includes AC class train travel, accommodation in AC hotels, vegetarian meals, road trips in AC vehicles as well as travel opportunities, travel insurance as well as the services of IRCTC tour managers. All the health precautions required during the journey are taken on these tours by providing a safe, good journey.
