The man killed on the Singh border was identified as 35-year-old Lakhbir Singh. Lakhbir Singh lives in the village of Cheema Khurd in Punjab. He makes a living as a laborer. He is survived by his wife Jaspreet Kaur and three children. Lakhbir Singh’s father Darshan Singh is only 8,10,12 years old. His cousin Harnam Singh was adopted when he was 6 months old, police sources said. The sources said that he belonged to the Dalit community, had no criminal record against him and was not affiliated with any political party.
