Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has expressed a strong opinion that the patriarchy is hypocrisy. Uddhav Thackeray published the three-part book Prabodhankar in Prabodhan with an article by Keshav Sitaram Thackeray in Prabodhan magazine. He was talking at the time. Balasaheb Thorat, Minister of Marathi Language Subhash Desai, Minister of State for Marathi Language Vishwajeet Kadam, MP Arvind Sawant and Mayor Kishori Pednekar were present on the occasion. The website of Balasaheb Thackeray National Memorial was also launched on this occasion.

“I have just become a patriarch. It is said that one should not do good deeds during this period. But when I want to do something and there is a patriarchy, then I say it was established by the father. This is the clear view expressed by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
Prabodhankar was speaking at the publication of Thackeray’s collection of articles in Prabodhan magazine. Sachin Parab has edited 3 volumes of Prabodhankar’s articles and it has been published by Marathi Sahitya Mandal. The Balasaheb Thackeray National Memorial Website was also inaugurated by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
“My grandfather Prabodhankar Thackeray was not an atheist. He had great faith in Goddess. But he said to kick hypocrisy. He not only wrote it down, he kicked wherever hypocrisy was seen,” Thackeray said.
