LIC’s subsidiary LIC Cards Services Limited (LIC CSL) and IDBI Bank have partnered to launch two variants of co-branded RuPay credit cards. These are- LIC CSL ‘Lumin’ Platinum Credit Card and LIC CSL ‘Eclat’ Select Credit Card. Both these cards are operated by IDBI Bank.
To whom will this credit card be issued?
These cards are initially being issued keeping in mind the LIC policyholders, LIC agents and employees of LIC and its subsidiaries/associates. Meaning if you have LIC policy or you are agent of LIC then you will get this credit card. Later this card can also be issued to the general public.

This credit card of LIC and IDBI Bank gives many attractive benefits to the customers. ‘Lumin’ and ‘Eclat’ cardholders can avail best-in-class credit limits to suit their lifestyle. Lumin cardholders will earn 3 Delight Points for every Rs 100 spend, while the Eclat card will earn 4 Delight Points. Cardholders will get a special benefit of two times reward points if they pay renewal of LIC’s insurance premium with this. That means six or eight reward points for every Rs 100.

These credit cards come with the benefits of attractive insurance coverage including accident insurance cover, personal accident/permanent disability cover, credit shield cover and zero lost card liability. But you have to keep in mind that the benefit of insurance will be available only if you make any use of the card within a period of 90 days from the date of insurance claim.
Will get exemption from fuel surcharge on filling petrol diesel?
The card offers a one percent fuel surcharge waiver on transactions of at least Rs 400 and above. Along with this benefit, both the cards also allow users to convert transactions above Rs 3,000 into EMI. There is no processing fee and no foreclosure charges. They can opt for EMI tenure of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months as per their requirement.
