National Monetization Pipeline full details: Launched by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

The National Monetization Pipeline is a scheme by the Narendra Modi-led government to sell state-owned assets to raise funds for the country’s development projects.

The scheme will list which assets of the Central Government have been decided for sale in the next 4 years.  The plan is to be unveiled by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today.  Also in attendance are Nitish Ayog CEO Abidab Kant and other top officials.

The scheme will list which assets of the Central Government have been decided for sale in the next 4 years.  Meanwhile, the federal government had mentioned in its budget report for the financial year 2021-22 that the national monetization pipeline project.  Accordingly, the central government has decided to sell state assets worth about Rs 6 lakh crore.

According to Nithi Ayog, the central government’s think tank, the National Monetization Pipeline project includes the federal government’s Brownfield Infra asset plan and the central government’s monetary plan for the next four years.

Budget Report The government has developed a fundraising plan to sell assets and implement various construction projects and important announcements announced in this year’s budget report and raise funds for it.

6 lakh crore The central government has decided to sell about 6 lakh crore rupees worth of state assets, including national highways and power grid pipeline assets, Federal Investment and Public Property Management Secretary Dukin Kantha Pandey said earlier this month.

State Property Sale Asset monetization is defined on the website of the central Department of Investment and Public Property Management (DIPAM) as the way to monetize large or unused assets under state control and thereby generate revenue for the state.

Government assets are important Government assets are important to all economies around the world, but DIPAM has explained that such decisions have to be made in the absence of adequate funding for government development projects.

National Infrastructure Pipeline.

Infrastructure projects were mentioned in the central Government’s budget report for the financial year 2021-22 for the National Monetization Pipeline Project.  Now the project has been announced as a new and diversified fundraising project to improve the country’s infrastructure.
