New rule of check clearance implemented in Axis Bank
RBI has implemented a new rule of check clearance from today to prevent bank frauds. A new positive pay system was introduced in 2020 to verify the details of the check issuer. Many banks have already implemented this system but from today Axis Bank has also implemented this rule.
The bank has informed all its customers about the new rule by sending an SMS. In the new rule, if someone issues a check of high value, then before issuing the check, he will have to give information about his respective bank. This step is to prevent check fraud.
Aadhaar-PAN linking mandatory for SBI customers.
SBI has given time to all its customers to link PAN with Aadhaar by 30 September 2021. If you do not do this then you will not be able to make transactions in your account. If you deposit more than Rs 50,000 in your account, then PAN is mandatory for that.
