Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamcharis Sangh has come out in protest over the demand of pension arrears and non-deposit of bank deductions for three months to the outsourced employees of Nainital Municipality. The employees associated with the union staged a sit-in demonstration in the municipality premises and raised slogans against the management.
Angry over non-payment of salary for three months, the employees associated with Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamchari Sangh staged a sit-in in the municipality premises. On Tuesday, employees under the leadership of President Dharmesh Prasad and Secretary Sonu Sahdev raised slogans against the municipality administration.
He said that the employees have not been paid salaries for three months. Pension arrears are also not being paid to retired employees. Employees have informed the executive officer several times in this regard. Despite this no action is being taken.

On Tuesday, under the leadership of the President of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamcharis Sangh Dharmendra Prasad, all the officials and employees gathered in the municipality premises. Where the workers staged a sit-in and raised slogans against the municipality management. Dharmesh Prasad said that the outsourced and contractual workers posted in the municipality have not received their salaries for three months.
Many times a demand has been made from the executive officer regarding the salary. But no consideration is being given to it. Along with this, the bank deduction made by the municipality in the salary of the employees is also not being deposited. Due to which the workers will have to pay more interest. Also pension and arrears are not being paid to the retired employees.
The employees announced that if their demands were not accepted by the evening, then from Wednesday all the employees would be obstructed to go on a boycott. During this time, all essential services including the cleanliness of the city will also be disrupted. Union general secretaries Sonu Sahdev, Mahesh Kumar, Aman Tak, Om Prakash Chautala, Trilok Tank, Anil Kumar, Vicky, Raj Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Sunny Kumar, Rajan and other employees were present among those who protested.
