Quality and right advice is essential. Pharmacist is an expert in drugs as well as a drug counselor. In the present scenario after discovery of drugs, right storage, right distribution and right counseling, human life can be saved. “

- There are a total of 13 lakh Diploma, Bachelor, Master, Ph.D. Pharmacy with D Pharma educated Pharmacists in India every year.

- The post of Pharmacist has not been created practically for the patients admitted so far in the hospitals.
- Pharmacists are also made to study crude drugs.

Pharmacist played an important role in Corona period
Sunil Yadav said that “pharmacists have presented themselves as ‘master keys’ during the covid transition period. The International Pharmaceutical Federation had set the theme of World Pharmacist Day last year as ‘Transforming global health’. Pharmacists have changed themselves in the changing global environment. About 60 percent of the whole of India is rural area, along with this, in urban areas also, by forming teams, pharmacists worked to identify positive patients by tracing and testing patients. Pharmacist worked prominently in all survey team and testing team. Along with this, the pharmacist has played a major role in supplying medicines to all the covid-hospitals and non-covid-dispensaries from level-1 to level-5 and giving medicines and counseling to the patients.
Around 13 lakh pharmacists across India
Sunil Yadav said that in India there are about 13 lakhs diploma, bachelor, master, PhD pharmacy pharmacists with Pharm D education. Pharmacy is the backbone of the medical system. The posts of Pharmacists are not being created practically for the patients admitted so far in the hospitals, while this is very necessary.
Pharmacy is related to people’s lives
He told that ‘Pharmacy’ is related to people’s life, so it needs to be strengthened. Pharmacists are also given the study of crude drugs. Therefore, today as a specialist in medicines, the ‘Pharmacist’ is serving the public. The general public should take information about the drug from the pharmacist.
