When is Kalbhairav ​​Jayanti?

Krishna Paksha Ashtami of Kartik month starts on 27th November 2021. Kalashtami will be held from 5:43 am on Saturday to 6:00 am on Sunday 28th November 2021. On the day of Kalbhairav ​​Ashtami, one should take a bath in the morning, wear clean clothes and fast. 

On this day, worship Lord Kalbhairava by lighting a lamp in front of Lord Shiva, go to the temple in the evening and light a four-faced lamp in front of the idol of Lord Bhairava and worship his spirit. Offer flowers, jellies, urad, leaves, coconuts etc. to God. After this one must sit on a seat in front of the Lord and recite Kalbhairav ​​Chalisa or chant Om Bhairavai Nama Mantra.

Another story goes that Sati, the daughter of Daksha, the king of the gods, considered Lord Shiva as her husband and married him, but this was not acceptable to Daksha, because Shiva lives in the cemetery, burns the body and has demons with him.
