Led by Hindu People’s Party Dindigul West District Secretary Palanisamy, executives including state organization general secretary Ravi Balan and Southern secretary Manikandan visited the Dindigul Collector’s office. District organizer Ramachandran Ganesha was disguised and wearing a mask. 

The party then chanted slogans demanding permission for the Ganesha Chaturthi procession. They subsequently filed a petition with the Collector’s Office.

In that petition, Ganesha Chaturthi festival is to be celebrated on 10.9.2021 in Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the corona should not be denied permission for the Ganesha Chaturthi ceremony on the grounds. The government should give permission to worship Ganesha with idols and to go in procession on the occasion of Chaturthi festival.

The Hindu People’s Party (HPP) filed a petition at the Dindigul-Dindigul Collector’s Office in the guise of a statue of Ganesha. This should not be dismissed as a corona. Ganesha idol should be allowed to be worshiped and procession should be allowed.

Christian priest George Ponnaya has spoken insultingly to Hindus and Mother Earth in Kanyakumari Arumana. A non-bailable case should be registered against him for inciting religious fanaticism, they said.
