This time a grand Deepotsav was celebrated in Ayodhya. The city of Lord Shri Ram lit up with 12 lakh lamps. 9 lakh diyas were lit on Ram’s foot and 3 lakh diyas were lit in the rest of Ayodhya. This is the world record for lighting such a large number of lamps simultaneously .

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers to Ram Lalla on Thursday (November 4, 2021) morning. He tweeted and wrote, “Today in ‘Shri Ayodhya ji’, on the auspicious occasion of the holy festival of Deepawali, I got the privilege of having divine darshan of Lord Shri Ram Lalla ji. May the blessings of Raghukul Nandan bless the whole world. Keep showering your blessings on all. Long live Rama!”

With the announcement from the Guinness Book of World Records, the entire Ram ki Paadi went on a wave of glee. When the fireworks began, the Saryu beach was drowned in joy. 

The volunteers present jumped with joy. His gaiety was shaking with the exclamation of Jai Shri Ram.

After the record was created, the Guinness Book team presented a provisional certificate to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Department of Tourism of UP and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University have jointly created a Guinness World Record.

Together, both of them lit the maximum number of diyas in Ayodhya Deepotsav 2021. The Guinness Book of World Records team had reached Ayodhya to witness the event.

Let us tell you that in Ayodhya, 32 teams together lit 12 lakh diyas. About 36,000 liters of mustard oil was used in this. The diyas were controlled by the Guinness World Team.

The World Records team had said on the stage that the counting of more than 9 lakh diyas has been completed. This is a world record. Along with this, the remaining lamps were also monitored by the team.

Guinness World Records team congratulated CM Yogi for the excellent record of this Ayodhya.

On the occasion of Deepotsav, 9 lakh diyas were lit at 32 ghats of Ram ki Paidi and 3 lakh diyas in other parts of Ayodhya.

To make a world record, it is considered necessary to burn an earthen lamp for about 5 minutes. Similarly, 12 lakh diyas were lit all over Ayodhya. During this, the Guiness World Records team congratulated CM Yogi for the excellent record of this Ayodhya.

Let us tell you that when 2017 CM Yogi’s government was formed for the first time in UP. During that, 1 lakh 80 thousand diyas were lit at the beginning of the Deepotsav program.

In the year 2018, 3 lakh 1 thousand 152 diyas were lit. Ayodhya was illuminated with 5 lakh 50 thousand diyas in 2019 and 5 lakh 51 thousand diyas in 2020. This year’s scene is different.
