It is against nationalism to play cricket with Pakistan when there is tension on the Line of Control. “It is against the national interest,” Ramdev told reporters at the Nagpur airport.

The AMA, an organization of doctors, came out strongly against this. The IMA has demanded the arrest and release of Ramdev, who has been keeping the public away from treatment on baseless allegations.
Later, Ramdev stated that he was withdrawing his reference. Union Minister Harshavardhan had rejected Ramdev. The statement was withdrawn after this. Ramdev also expressed regret over the controversy surrounding his statement.

The World Cup will be held in the UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14. The matches will be played in four venues.
